A Little Holiday Sharing: Balancing Eggs at Noon?
As we prepare to enjoy the delicious rice dumplings (Zongzi) and watch the thrilling dragon boat races, there is one quirky and fun tradition you can try, no matter where you are spending your long weekend!
According to traditional folklore, the solar energy is at its absolute peak at precisely 12:00 PM on the day of the Dragon Boat Festival. It is believed that if you can successfully stand a raw egg upright on its end at exactly noon, you will receive an abundance of good luck and blessings for the entire upcoming year!
Whether you are staying locally to enjoy the festivities or traveling abroad for the holiday, grab an egg this Friday at noon and give it a shot. It’s a fun, simple way to bring a little festival luck into your weekend!
Wishing you a safe, healthy, and happy holiday! May your weekend be filled with peace and joy.
